A hub of nautical activity
Dartmouth Yacht Club’s goal is to promote safe, fun and responsible on-the-water activities including sailboat racing, and cruising, powerboat events, sail and safety training, and human powered boating.
With nearly 200 berths, including for boats up to 50ft, DYC is an excellent home base for exploring Bedford Basin, Halifax Harbour and beyond.
Racing
Compete in DYC’s Performance Racing Program. Our program includes regattas, club racing, and family fun pursuit events. We also host an annual Junior Regatta, Bamse Cup.
Cruising
DYC organizes both sail and power cruises and meet-ups on the water. Safe, enjoyable and fun – join us for day trips, weekend excursions and more.
Power boating
Get together with friends on the dock, or join us for our annual Poker Run. DYC is a hub of activity for families and the performance power boater.
